Welcome to Healthy Ambitions Suffolk!

Healthy Ambitions Suffolk is an exciting project to make Suffolk the healthiest county by 2028. The biggest contribution we can all make is to see that our hearts keep healthy.

We want to inspire everyone in Suffolk to play their part by making small changes which can have a big impact upon general health and wellbeing, and heart health in particular.

Your personal healthy ambition might be to do more walking, eat more healthily or reduce stress at work. Just about anything goes, and we're here to help.

A few places still available on our breakfast seminar - 23rd April

We have a few places left for the breakfast seminars on Long Term Sickness which is being held on 23rd April in Bury St Edmunds and 30th April in Ipswich.  These events are aimed at local employers and will address key employment issues around Long Term Sickness which is a problem for many businesses today.  The event will provide you with an opportunity to learn about preventative actions that can be taken to protect a business with the benefit of saving both time and money. Rock Up In Red

The British Heart Foundation is encouraging people across the UK to Rock Up In Red on Friday 1st February 2013 to kick off National Heart Month with a bang! Information packs are available to help you to organise a wear red day at your office, school, community group or club by asking people to wear red and donate £2 to the BHF.  Alternatively you might like to organise a red themed event any time in February for National Heart Month – a quiz, coffee morning or fashion show.  Organising your own Rock Up In Red day couldn’t be easier! Order your free fundraising pack at bhf.org.uk/red or call 0300 330 0645 to get started.
